    Hot water heater
    My hot water heater keeps shutting off. Ihave to keep hitting the reset button. What might be the problem

    Its in a brand new house, only 2 years old

    Hey Ken,
    If the red reset button on the thermostat keeps kicking off it indicates too high a water temperature or a faulty thermostat. If the water isn't boiling hot then replace the thermostat. Good luck, Tom
