My 3 year old is quiet spirited. She has an opinion on almost everything and insists doing it her way only. She is cranky almost all the time and would almost never do what is asked of her. I have tried everything under the sun but nothing has helped me. I don't want our relationship to go sour in the long run. Please HELP!! :(

Sounds like all 3 year olds. You have to remember to be the parent, not their buddy. Parents have to do what is needed for the benefit of the child even if they child does not ike it

When you try everything under the sun it shows them there is no consistency. You need to set up consequences to fit the problem and stick to it no matter how much it looks like it is not working it will eventually sink in.
