    240v vs 120v well pump
Hello guys I would like to know which is better . I have a electric well pump that can either be wired 240v or 120v but I don't know which would be more efficient. Could some one please give me some advice.

240v will start easier and be slightly less hard on the motor. 240v will also let you run a smaller circuit therefor using smaller wire. 240v also has much less voltage drop compared to 120v for long distance runs.

While 240v is slightly more efficient, neither will use less electricity to the point that you'd ever notice it.
