When the call ended he stated to me that it didn't matter if the number was 9 thousand or 9 million as long as he held the levy on my account. It's almost a 5 thousand dollar difference. I had a family member willing to help me pay this debt, but then refused due to the error. As my family member pointed out if you pay the amount you owe what would stop them from saying I owed more.
Is there anything that I can do to get this corrected ASAP?
Thank you for your help.
