Hi well I've been with my ex for 4 years now and we broke up for almost a year now, we didn't talk for about 2 months just because we had a lot of issues it was pretty rough for both of us, I truly love him I miss him so much he was my first serious relationship he's 26 I'm, now 20 this weekend we hung out and told me he loves me and he asked me to please whenever I need help financially or need someone to talk to to please call him but we both are dating other people somewhat and really I care about him so much that it hurts and the fact that every time I'm with him I feel so uptight I don't know why we've had a lot of issues I just want to find a way that I can get over him I don't know what to do I feel sometimes like I get a bit depressed you know , I want to just get away make him realize that I diserve more I think he's a good guyand besides everything we've been through at the end of the day he took care of me a lot and I would hate to stop talking to him but I feel like I keep getting hurt because the fact that we're not together we've talked about it but some how we clash so much I'm just so confused please help me!

It's called No Contact, try it. You constantly talking to him is only delaying it because you keep tearing open the wounds. Don't talk to him, it's only hurting you

Rome is right, stop the contact, and you will heal much faster. Yeah , I know we hate to be that way with an ex, but its necessary to be able to stay focused on other things, besides stirring up those old emotions over, and over again.
