    Indefinite leave to remain
Hi! I came to the UK as a dependent of my dad, who is a work permit holder. He came here first and then after three months we came to live with him. Now we have stayed in the uk for 5 years and we are applying for an indefinite leave to remain.

My question is, are we going to apply for an ILR the same time as my dad even though he came here before us? Or should my dad apply first and then, we, he family should apply later?

    Thanks a lot :)

How old are you? If you are unmarried, under 21, you can be added in your dad's petition. If you are married, or over 21, or both, then you will have to wait until your dad can file a petition for you.
