Venting a basement bathroom with a sewage pump
    Good day, All

I am trying to figure out the venting for my basement bathroom.
I am running a 4" waste drain from the toilet to my sewage holding tank, (one of those inground ones with a pump)which takes a 3" vent.
I will also tie in a shower (2") and a sink (1.5 or 2")to the 4" main drain.
Do i have to vent each individually?
I have an existing 2" dry vent (or wet vent depending where I tie in to it). Not too far away.
Is this sufficient for all three fixtures (toilet, sink and shower) or do I need a larger vent?

Im in Ontario, Canada by the way.

    Thanks for your input.

Not if you connect the toilet to the main drain and the lavatory drain to the toilet branch and run a vent off the lavatory. The shower wi8ll connect to the lavatory drain line and be wet vented by it. Wet vents are code in 90% of the nation. Check code to see if you're in the excluded 10%.

Come of the lavatory with 2" and revent back to the existing dry vent and you'll be just fine. Good luck, Tom
