The Verizon Aircard is made to connect your computer to the Verizon cellular (wireless) network. With it, you can use your cellular phone like a modem and connect to the Internet using the Verizon high speed service. However, this comes with a price. Unless you have a wireless plan that includes data access at a reduced or fixed rate per month, buyer beware.

This is not the same type of wireless as what is used for WiFi home networks. They are completely separate communications standards.

When I heard about the Air card, a drawback I saw was Networking, I thought it would be great if someone made an "Air Card Router" I googled it and it is available.
    Back in a minute.
