I don't understand why all guys want to date when you don't even know each other. It's like they say you date me or you're old fashioned. There is this guy who wants to date me but I'm not ready. What should I tell him? Answer as soon as possible please.

The purpose of dating is to get to know each other. If you fee you are too young to start dating one on one, then just tell them that. Suggest they hang out with a group until you are ready.

The most worrying thing is that my mum would be very angry if she knew I dated. And my friend has to go home early so I can't tell her that I was with her.

Just tell him that then. The relationship between you and your mother is more important than the relationship between you and him. Tell him to ask in a few years.

Don't rush into things.
From personal experience... I think you should go with the gut feelings.
And inner intuition.
Let him know how you feel.
If he doesn't understand, forget him.

Tell him you have better 'fish in the sea'

I never heard that one before, used to be ''what's the matter are you gay?''
Guys just give you lines like that because it hurts their ego to think you could possibly turn them down.
