My dog might have a bladder infection
About 6 months ago my 9 year old bulldog started wetting in the house. He had a little blood in his urine so I took a sample to the vet and he had a bladder infection. I got a prescription for amoxacillan. I was wondering if anyone has any home remedies that I might be able to use. I called the vet and she said I would have to bring the dog in. I got laid off work 3 weeks ago and running a little low on money at the time. I would appreciate any help you can give me. You can email me at [email protected] Thank You, Jeanne

With a UT infection baking soda, cranberry juice and vitamin C helps people I don't know what if anything it would do for a dog. Also plenty of water. I can't guarantee this will work but it is what some people do.

If/when you do the antibiotics it is important to give him unsweetened yogurt once he is done taking the whole prescription.
