I have 36 of my dad's old silver half dollars, ranging from 2 1936 Liberty coins to a few Franklin coins to a 1967 Kennedy coin. Most are pre-1960. The one I can read the best is the 1936 Liberty coin. I see no mint mark on the back of the coin. The front has a figure of a woman walking, left foot in front and right arm outstretched. The word Liberty runs from the 8 o'clock position on the face of the coin to the 4 o'clock position. The back of the coin has an American eagle, with wings almost stretched out and standing on the edge of something. All coins appear to be well-worn with the exception of the newer ones form the 1960's. I've looked at several website to just get an idea what these coins may be worth - most are not very helpful unless you buy their book.
Thanks for any help on this subject.
