    Wills rights after spouses death
    Married in Nevada live in Texas husband own prperty in New York before marriage. Will leaves everything to the other spouse . Can kids get the propery left to the wife?

    If he had a will specifically leaving everything to his wife then it all goes to his wife.

    Yes her kids would get (pre marriage to you things) it after she dies. You should be entitled to at least a portion of things accumulated after your marriage though.

    He can't leave everything to the other spouse (I assume you mean a former spouse). He has to provide for you according to Texas law.

    And, yes, if the house goes to his ex-wife she can dispose of it any way she deems appropriate OR she can will it to the children. If she dies before the children, it depends on the wording in your husband's will.
