Landlord giving notice if selling property
What kind of notice does the landlord have to give tenants if they are putting their property up for sale in the state of Alabama? What happens if they do not give tenants notice? Do I have any options? I just found out my landlords have put this property up for sale from another tenant who is moving out. They do not have any for sale signs up on the property but they are advertising in a magazine. I am a single mother with 3 children who cannot afford to be wondering how long I am going to have a place to live.

They do not have to give you any notice what so ever. They will inform you if they sale and another owner takes over.

If you have a written lease the new owners will have to honor it.

The fact they are selling does not change your rental obligation
