    Cousin trouble
I need help because my real cousin married a guy and she loves me but he hates me so much. I want to be friends with him and I want us to act like cousins but he will not stop being mean to me so how do I say stop and I would like to be cousins from now on without looking stupid because he always makes fun of me and it is getting on my last nerve so help me.

Could he be jealous of a good cousin relationship. Maybe you should just fade away for a while while their marriage gets going and when they are more settled it will be easier to be friends again with your cousin. Other then that, girlneedshelp, sit them both down and have a talk with HIM and tell him you are fed up with his attitude. Communication is always a head start to get things settled.

Could be they need time alone.

How close are you to your cousin? Can you be honest with her and tell her how you feel about her new man? I feel that she needs to know and help you out if you're close. If you're not so close then quite frankly, I would just simply be pleasant when he is around and make myself scarse. Things can only change if you are honest about your relationship w/ your cousin. She'll have your back... if she only knew that you needed it. Xo

My Brother-in-Law is a jerk to me, just like that. At first, I tried to be his friend, I told him that I didn't want to have bad feelings between us. Talking did not help. He resents the fact that I took away his brother/playmate and will not accept me (11 years.)

Know what? That is his garbage. We may never be more than two people who leave the room when the other walks into it. He may never be a friend to me. It's his loss. I remain open to talking to him but I don't force it.
