What does K-12 means?
The schooling levels Kindergarten through Grade 12.
PS; this grade level system is primarily found in the USA and English Canada.
And French Canada as well.Quote:

In Canada, Education is a provincial responsibility that varies from province to province.
Now while most of English Canada is K-12, that does not apply to all.
For example, the province of Prince Edward Island doesn't have kindergarten as part of its normal public school system.
And until 3 years ago, high school in Ontario was from Grades 9 – 13 (Grade 13 was called OAC though, Ontario Academic Credit).
In Québec, they still have 1 extra year of school than the other provinces. However, while a normal university degree is 4 years in the rest of Canada, Québec students who choose to go to University, are exempt their first year and only attend for 3 years. Quite confusing if you ask me.
"K-12" means Kindergarten through 12th Grade.Quote:
