    My Dog Won't Bark

We own a 8 mo miniture Dashound, when we purchased him he use to bark. But he has not barked since February. He did bark about 3 weeks ago, when our son attempted to take a t-bone from him.:) We have read up on this bread & found out they are barkey dogs. Our neighbor has three & all they do is bark, even scaring our dog sometimes when he wants to play... IS THIS NORMAL?

I have a 2 year old mini doxie and he rarely barks. Just like people every dog is different. Yes dashaunds are known for being barkers but not everyone is. Enjoy your new addition to your family. I just love doxies

It is normal... you actually should consider yourself lucky because I have noticed that Dachunds have very high-pitched barks. Maybe he just hasn't found a reason to bark. But its normal

Yes this is normal, you are very lucky not to have a barking dog that's all my dog does, sometimes dogs only bark when they want something or when need to go out side to the toilet etc.. I wouldn't worry too much
