PCOS Patient.Unknowing if I Can Get Pregnant
I have one 5 year old son, and he was conceived naturally. After having him I was diagnosed with PCOS. My doctor has had me on Clomid. I had to take Provera first, and then Clomid. My first day of my last period was June 27, 2008, and I'm now on day 34. I don't understand why I'm getting 2 negative pregnancy test results. Is it because I'm testing to early? Let me know.

Could be early, or might not be pregnant and period is just off. It can take several rounds of Clomid to get results and sometimes an alternative may need to be tried if the Clomid doesn't help. Being on Clomid, your doctor should be monitoring you, so you may want to ask about having a blood test done to get a better idea.

    H Doula,

My period isn't off... that's just it... I've taken this pill before in the past, about 3 different times, and each time I've taken it I get my period bang on time. Normally day 28-30. I'm feeling like there are symptoms of being pregnant. For me to get my period, I get pains in my knees about 3-4 days before my period, and it hurts like crazy. I haven't had that. I have had nausea feelings like crazy too. I'm going to my doctors tomorrow to see what's going on. I've been researching the internet as well, and I have found that being a PCOS person, and being on the Clomid that sometimes you can get a negative test a few times and still be pregnant, because the calculation of ovulation is incorrect! Help!

Was it determined that you actually ovulated or that you likely did? Maybe your period is off a few days this cycle. If you normally have 28-30 day cycle, then it very well could be that the test didn't pick up a possible positive just yet. Your doctor will likely do a urine test in the office, but may also have you take a blood test as well. Fingers crossed you get that positive soon!
