I had sex 2 or 3 weeks ago without a condom.. and I'm on the birth control pill Yaz.

I don't start my period until next week, but I'm extremely nervous. I haven't thrown up but I have had sore breasts the past few days. Could this be pre menstral or a sign or pregnancy because I start my period in a week on Friday.

It could be just that your period is getting ready to start... pretty common symptom for either situation. Odds are, if you have been taking the Yaz as directed, you are safe from pregnancy. You'll have to just wait and see what happens when your period is due.

If you are properly taking your birth control pills, then you are probably OK. However you must always wear a condom to prevent STDs.

Very true about the STD part, but I only have sex with one guy (the guy I lost my virginity to) and same with him for me.. I'm a firm believer in not having sex with random guys and getting a reputation.

Birth control pills are not 100% effective, in fact many women get pregnant on the pill, there are many women on this site that were on the pill, used a condom and a spermicide and still got pregnant.

Having said that, no reason to worry yet, you aren't even late, worry when you have something to worry about, and start using a condom, extra protection is a good thing.

Sorry rabbit. Altenweg's right.

Although birth control pills are effective, they're not 100%... and people that are using the birth control pill properly, along with a condom, do get pregnant. It happens.

You need to relax, stress will cause you to be late. You don't know yet, your just over thinking.

Wanting to be pregnant to an extreme or not wanting to be pregnant to an extreme can cause your body to think that you are. Its Common.

A lot of women, before their period comes have sore breasts.

Just wait it out, and remember to practice safe sex if you aren't wanting a child or an STD. Use this to remind you.
