    Learning how "popular" a website is
    Are there sources as good as or better than Alexa for learning about the popularity of websites based on type of site?

    How about Alexa? That has categories etc.

    Have you tried Netcraft, different from Alexa but worth a look.

    Thanks. I'll check it out.

    I'm thinking one day Google will do some reporting as to the sites visited by folk with it's toolbar. I'll have to think there's lots of them and that they'd rival Alexa if they did.
