Looking for manufacture date for washer/dryer
I have an older set of Maytag washer and dryer. I do not know their manufacture date. Is there a way I can find out?

    Thanks for your help Doug.

I am amazed that the charts go that far back. Are you in the business?

These units were given to us by the previous owners of our house and I was told that the units made today are more efficient. Do you what percent more efficient the new ones are?

In the repair business. The newer ones are more efficient however it does take a while to reep the payback. My opinion, if the ones you have are working properly, keep them. Newer ones have too many features which leads to more things to go wrong.
