    Greasy dull hair colour
Last week I got my hair done in the salon,
Then it was a highlighted strawberry blonde,
They precoloured it and then put an overall dark mahogany red in it

Since I got it done I washed my hair 3 times! Just 3 and already most of the colour has faded,

Also its really greasy even though its never been greasy!

And the colour is really dull

I even used the same shampoo as always - redken

    Is it the shampoo?
Or a fault by the dyE?

The thing is I have to wash it because it gets greasy but the colour gets more and more dull each time I wash it.

    Stooopid hair.

    Any help?

It may not be the shampoo but I do notice that when I use the same shampoo repeatedly it does get a greasy dirty build up. I also use clarifying shampoo and alternate between PH balanced shampoo and a couple other shampoos I like.
I don't know that that would be it or that it would be a problem with the tint but it is worth alternating shampoos any way.

I do get what you're saying yeah but it's quite annoying because..
If I use my clarifying one its going to turn the colour dull but...
If I change to another shampoo for coloured hair its not going to get rid of the build up so good. Uhh frustrating:(
I've only noticed the greasyness since the colour change though:S

Maybe only your hairdresser knows for sure.
I would at least tell them you are having problems with it and see what they have to say.
If they feel it is their fault they may offer you some compensation.

Are you using permanent hair color?

Maybe your hair is too damaged and now it can't hold color.

I just colored my hair, and it was really dark when it was done.. now its not so dark being 4 days later. Fading happens, but I doubt it will fade much more for you.

Sunlight causes fading too.. are you in the sun a lot?
