With this woman running the House, do you really want a Dem in the White House?
    This woman is frightening.
She quotes... ' We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income, (didn't Marx say something like this), in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.' ( I am not rich, are you?)

When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied:
'We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as 'Americans'.' (Read that quote again and again and let it sink in. 'Lower your retirement, give it to others who have not worked as you have for it'.

OK, touche'. I got that from someone I trusted. I apologize.
Of course, this no worse than most of the accusations against Bush, so don't go gettin' self righteous on me.

I'm also getting a lot of email by friends and family. I try to read as many as possible and then research. Actually I don't care for Nancy Pelosi, but in all fairness to her that happens to be an inaccurate story.

Here's something that is accurate about Madame Pelosi, while Americans are asking for more drilling Pelosi is ignoring us for her own agenda:

    Quote:

"I'm trying to save the planet.. . I will not have this debate trivialized by their excuse for their failed policy," Pelosi said. “When you win the election, you win the majority, and what is the power of the speaker? To set the agenda, the power of recognition, and I am not giving the gavel away to anyone.”
What do you get after almost 8 years of listening to whining leftists complain of Republicans forcing their agenda? Democrats forcing their agenda of course. I didn't realize it was her job to save the planet. I think it's an outrage that Congress busted their arses to bail out idiots that didn't understand their mortgage, but the Dems won't budge when it comes to helping us all with gas prices.

    Hello Gal:

I agree! She's the worst! The Dems suck bigtime. But the Republicans suck even biggertime.

Madam Pelosi, all by herself, is blocking the impeachment of the largest lawbreaking president in our history, the dufus in chief.

    Ex,

I realize the nutroots thinks Pelosi is "killing the Democratic party" by blocking impeachment, but what exactly are they supposed to impeach him for? Because a bunch of leftist wackos demand it? Do you think that if they really had any impeachable offenses to base it on that they'd pass up the chance to go for it?

    Hello speech:

You know how the Senate blocks any legislation unless they've got 60 votes?? Well, Madam Pelosi blocks ANY attempts at impeachment.

Of course, they've got a laundry list of offenses. You ask what law did he violate?? Hmmm, for one, how about FISA? Breaking that law is an impeachable offense, all by itself...

What?? You think getting a little nooky and then lying about it is impeachable... How about destroying the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution?? No??

Pelosi is protecting the Pres?? Ex, are you SURE you haven't been sippin that artificial cherry homemade drink?

All that aside, it is NOT a good idea to have both houses AND the White House under the control of the same party, particularly with that party as tilted to the left as the Dem. Is. With that scenario, any checks in the political system between legislative and executive are nullified. Not a good thing.

But why? According to the Dems they're more concerned with not giving a reason to "energize the Republican base" than holding Bush accountable. So what does that say about the Democrats?

Impeach For Peace offers a "Do-It-Yourself Impeachment." What are you waiting for? ;)
