    Administrator accidentally deleted
Hi there, I accidentally deleted my administrator, and although I created a new administrator before deleting the first- but which I did not know I was deleting-, I did not get any prompt asking me if I wanted to save files or delete so I just shut down, but the next time I started my system I was logged and a the new administrator, but unfortunately all my former administrator files and configuration went missing/deleted, my document, pictures etc all went missing.

Its really a total pain to me now, but I was hopping since I did not see any delete or save file message and did not say yes or not, maybe you could help me solve this issue. Clearly the old admin files sort of deleted in my opinion but I really need some important files from it, help me if you can.

Maybe a stupid suggestion... but did you check your recycle file? Was it emptied?

    Found this on another site

Go to your hard drive, then Documents and Settings then go to the folder with the name of the account. If that folder's not there, then they're gone. You can recover files that have been deleted though. There are programs (RestoreIt is one, I think) that scan your hard drive and bring back deleted information from the 'ghost' image that's left behind. Just do a web search and you should be able to find some programs. Good luck!
And you can try to do a system restore to before you deleted the account, don't know if will work but may be worth a shot
