Air conditioning will not come on at home
My drainage was clogged and the tray ran over. After this event the air stop working. It sputtered a couple of time and then shut off.

There may be a overflow switch that (should have) prevented the tray from running over. Until the water is drained from the condensate tray, this switch could stop your AC from working. Once the water is gone, see if there is a little float somewhere around the tray with wires going to a switch. Gently raise/lower this float to make sure it is not stuck. If it works smoothly, then either you just fixed it or there is something else wrong. Hopefully, the water the overflowed didn't go all over the electrics of your furnace!

Do not be surprised if you don't have such a safety switch. Although they are a good idea, it seems that a lot of builders don't bother.

    Hope this helps,
