AC Dripping is loud in bathtub
Background: I recently had a new AC installed. Also had renovations where the bathtub was moved. It has been raining heavy lately and has been more humid. Problem didn't exist prior to high humidity, but hasn't gone away.

Problem: When the A/C kicks on, I hear a loud noise of water in the line connected to the bath drain. My parents are having the same problem at their house (new construction).

Is there anything that can be done to make the dripping quieter? My understanding is that the dripping is not a bad thing.

Contact the company you purchased you unit from. They are responsible to you for your satisfaction.

I have no idea where your drain line is connected or if it is legal in your area to have it directly connected to your drain/sewage line.I know of nothing to make it quieter except to reroute the drain to another location.
