Canada more open to aliens applying for citenship
My husband was deported as stated a few weeks ago.. before he was we had applied for his canadian citizenship/visa... we had applied several months ago. The day ice deported him we heard back from their embassy... he had been approved for his canadian visa. Also the fee is less than what the embassy in the us charges by 100. Or so... when he receives his visa in brazil and is enroute tward canada as I will be going with him of course... can we still visit family in the us once his citizenship in canada goes through or would us ban him from entering on visit to family here... why is the us so closed minded about giving someone who hasn't committed any crime what soever a second chance... funny how the us gives countless chances to pedifiles, rapists.. etc who are citizens than others who aren't

I can't answer for US government, but the fact is if one was deported from US, no matter what his current status is, they won't let him in.
