I watched a film a few years ago and can't remember the name. I think the main plot was a nuclear war and there were submarines involved and the Golden Gate Bridge was melted? There was also a family who ended up taking some pills to kill themselves as there was no hope for the future. It was quite a sad film and not sure if happy ending.
