    sample mean
If 40 samples, each of size n=21, were selected from a population of 22,493, we would expect the mean of the sample means and the population mean to be close but not exactly equal.

Is this statement true or false?

I said it was true, is that correct?

Well, I'm not sure I'll give my opinion.

Take for example the population contains more people of bigger size than that which you chose to do the estimation, the mean mass of the population would be shifting towards a bigger number, or to a smaller number, if most of the people were below the size you chose.
