    Fan blower motor not working
Our furnace fan blower motor is not working(quit). It doesn't run. It had a flat spot and my husband was able to get it going, but now it won't run at all. My question is will it be cheaper to fix it or to buy a new one and where can I find one? My husband is an electrician and probably can install without too much trouble if we can find one. We're thinking an electrical supply co. might have one? Thanks.

Get the information off the old blower, all the information including the model number. There are many companies who will sell online. You may find a local supply house that sells over the counter, such as Johnstone. Changing the motor shouldn't be a big job if you get the right motor and pay attention to wiring.
