We were given a Sanyo DS31580. We do not subscribe to cable, but when we hooked up rabbit ears to it, the picture comes in and out and makes a sporadic fuzzy sound. We tried two different antennas with same results. Help please!

Do you have a sharp picture and it does it, or do you have a snowy picture and it does that?

The picture is sharp--about like what I get on my other tv's with rabbit ears.
