My whirlpool gold catalyst washer fills with water, but when the motor comes on to agitate nothing happens, I can hear the motor running a slight hum and tick, but nothing happens. Water drains than washer won't spin and shuts off. I was thinking it might be a belt. Help me please. Lol

Look at the coupler between the motor and transmission. Sounds like it is bad. About $35.00 and 30 minutes to replace.
