My computer is not showing my dvd drive. Now what can I do?

Desktop or Laptop? Exact model #?

Right-Click on My Computer, select Properties, select Hardware, click on Device Manager.

Look through this list for ANY yellow alert symbols. Is there on with a disc drive? If so, double-click on it, click on Driver, click on Update Driver or whatever button is presented to install the faulty driver.

Any joy? If not, post here what the full name of the drive is and we'll help find the driver.
