So a few months back I was caught shoplifting (bottle of cologne). The security guard told me that I could either pay some company the fee for the item or take the matter to court, obviously I just wanted to pay and get it all over with. I did receive the bill from them but I lost it. Now I don't know who to get a hold of to pay this fee. Has anyone here been in this kind of situation and know who I should contact in order to get this matter situated? Thanks in advance.

Somebody from Canada said that they paid the store fee and then found out that was the worst thing you can do. Go back to the security and ask for the address again Just so you have it in case. If you do have to pay it tell them you will only do so if they give you a receipt saying paid in full and will not prosecute.
