She says I pushed her and scared her away
Ok so this really beautiful girl I work with and I have been best friends for a year now. She had a boyfriend and wasn't happy and finally left him for me (we had sex twice in the year they were going out). Soon after she started staying at my place and everything was nice. She said her dad thought I was the one and a few friends told her that as well. After a few months of this I began to feel a distance between us. She stopped staying over and having sex. She said I was too pushy and scared her away, saying she didn't want to mess things up by moving too fast. Yesterday I noticed a hickey on her neck and I'm totally crushed. I love this girl, but she wants to be friends and date around since she hasn't been single in years. Do I have a chance and if so what do I do!

Perhaps she was already dating around or thinking about it while you were together and was scared to tell you- that could be where the distance part came into play.

Leave her be for now , the more you pursue her the more chance she will pull away more. She obviously doesn't think you're the one at the moment so it doesn't matter what others think.

Relationships are supposed to be fun and exciting where both parties give and take , and by the sound of it you wouldn't be able to trust her anyway.

    Good Luck

Yep. She wants space. Don't fight it. Show her you are a fun guy and are casual - then back away.

Leave her alone to do her thing, and you do the same. For whatever reasons, she has changed her mind about you, and that chapter of your life is done with. Move on.
