My ex-wife and I got divorced after 4 months of marriage and I am planning to marry again. The problem is that I am on an H1 visa and do not know if there would be any problems in getting an H4 dependent visa for my wife (my ex-wife also had an H4 visa).

Check with your local ins office but usuley u have to be a citizen in order to bring someone here and sponcer them and u have to be able to prove with out a doubt that u do make enough money to sponcer her a certin amount of income and also if u or her have kids this will also raise the income level of wt u have to have or u can always have someone else sponcer her for u it would have to a relitave that is legal here in the states and more or less a blood relitave good luck
