    Seeking medical financial assistance
I am a 27 year old female and have just recently been diagnosed with severe endometriosis, systic ovaries, and fibroid tumors. The treatment for my conditions is extremely exspensive and I don't have helath insurance. I do work 40 per week but Im not eligible for health insurance through the company I work for. I was just curious if anyone new of any charities, or financial assistance for single young women without health insurance. I have tried PPA but I make too much money for them, and I only make 12,ooo a year. Please give me some advice.

Is the treatment expensive because of surgery or prescriptions - ?

Your Physician should have a list of Pharmaceutical companies which underwrite prescription drugs for people in certain income categories. You would have to apply and see if you qualify. Some drugs are free; some drugs are at reduced cost.

If your Physician won't help you your Pharmacist should have the info. Or you can look the Pharmaceutical company up online and contact them directly, asking for assistance.

Did you ask your Physician about free samples? They usually have shopping bags full stashed somewhere.
