Steve's right. George, knock it off. Christmas is personal time for Christians to celebrate with their families as they wish. If Obama celebrated Hanukkah now that would surprise me. But I could careless how any of the politicians celebrate the holidays (or the lack of celebration).

Uh huh, right. It's funny how any attack on McCain no matter how insignificant gets a pass but raising ANY issue with Obama brings a flurry of condemnations. Sorry Cred, but some things ARE legitimate reasons to question a candidate's qualifications for president... regardless of how inane our friends in Europe think it may be. I realize you guys think we should take your opinions under consideration when electing OUR president but I couldn't care less what Europe thinks when it comes to our elections.

Seems most of Europe wants to have a say in everything we do while sitting on the sidelines with contempt and forgetting the sacrifices this country has made on your behalf as we again do the heavy lifting. No, I don't agree with the European sentiment (audacity/chutzpah, gall) that “it would be much better if the people of the world voted on the American president.” Fair-mindedness, indeed.

Well no I don't see any problem at all with them not exchanging gifts, there are a lot of things better than that. Many Christian groups don't exchange christmas gift

Now if you want to discuss his socialist views, his liberal stand, he idea of weak military, those are good attacks, but no, his family life is a sad excuss to bring up for anyone.
