    It all depends on what the unemployment office determines that you are eligible for having worked so many weeks in the 18 month period. If you worked all weeks in the 18 month period you are using for their determination, it should be 26 weeks.

    From the State of Illinois website: "Please note: eligible individuals may receive up to a maximum of 26 weeks of unemployment insurance benefits during their benefit year. Currently there is no extended benefits program available in Illinois. "
