So I have posted once before asking for help with my girlfriend she said one of the reasons we are taking a break is because we can never find anything to talk about she said that if I fix that problem and she feels like we are actually talking again we could be together

You don't say how old you are, but if you go to school together that's a big thing in common to talk about. What is she interested in? Books, sports, politics, movies? Those are good things to talk about. If you two can't find any common interests to talk about then maybe you are not right for each other.

Me and my ex had this thing I came up with that I called "random fact." can you guess what it is? You tell each other random facts about yourself and you should also get to know her better through this. I've also always found something to talk about with my girlfriends. If you're having a hard time with conversing perhaps you may not be as into her as you thought. (just a thought). Me and my girlfriend could talk about almost anything and nothing for hours. I miss her :)

My boyfriend doesn't talk a lot either but I just ask him questions and stuff like that to keep conversations going. If you aren't a good conversationalist then that might be something that you either want to work on or just find someone who accepts you for it.

Do something fun together like go biking or to an amusement park and that will strike up some conversations. If not that, is there anything that you want to know about her that you don't already? Is there anything about her that you really appreciate? These are things that would not only be conversation pieces but also earn you some brownie points for talking about her and being interested in her.
