    Abs light
I bought a 1994 dodge caravan with a few problems I have been trying to resolve. The one iv'e noticed the last few days is the abs light on the dash coming on while I'm driving.is this serious or is it something I can fix ? I'm concerned that the brakes will lock up or malfunction. Can someone help me with this problem? Thank you

It may be serious. I'd take it to Dodge and have them check it out. It may only be a dirty wheel sensor or there may be a problem with the ABS Module or pump. It's best to let them read any codes and go from there.

After the problem is solved, be sure to change the brake fluid every 2 to 3 years with an ABS-approved fluid. This can prevent corrosion and other problems from developing in the anti-lock braking system.
