I am going to be 13 weeks pregnant tomorrow! And I wanted to no when the 1st trimester ends and when the second trimester begins.. I'm so confused people are telling me not until 12 weeks and then people are telling me 13 weeks.. and some are saying 14 weeks.. and if so which one and is it at the beginning of 12,13,or14 weeks or at the end?? Please I am so confused... I need a rite answer!

Every three months or 12 weeks is a trimester

May through July 1 trimester
Aug through Oct 2nd
Nov through Jan 3rd

That's what I don't understand.. 12 weeks in a trimester but that would only add up to 36 weeks isn't there 40 weeks? I was told by my doctor that its at 12 weeks.. and I have books that say when your 13 weeks... im so confused but thanks for answering me... its just so confusing I just want to be able to say I'm in the second trimester:)

You are in your 2nd trimester when you are in your 4th month at 13 weeks (4 weeks in a month) keep in mind some months have more than 4 weeks
