My desktop computer is connected to wireless router through ethernet.And I have connected my laptop wirelessly to that router and so can access internet but I want to transfer files from my desktop PC to the laptop through that connection that I cant.So please help me.What do I do...

Enable file sharing on both, or start a FTP server client on both of them and access the files via your browser.

Is this a one-time transfer or is something that you will do an a some what daily basis? If it's a one time thing just use a thumbdrive. If not then enabling file sharing will be your best bet most likely due to the increased knowledge you'd need to setup FTP Server Client.
