I have a 1997 Honda Accord EX and need to replace the fuel pump. Do I need to drop the fuel tank or is there an access door? I found an access door for the fuel float, but cannot seem to locate one for the fuel pump. Am really dreading dropping the tank if I don't need to. Can anyone help?

I have never seen a bad Honda fuel pump, even though many people needlessly replace them. The problem usually involves fuses, main relay, or ECM. Read Sections A and B in the FAQ Sticky.
