    17 weeks pregnant
    Hiya!

I am 17weeks pregnant and was wondering when you should start really showing. I have a little bump and my usual clothes don't fit no more. Some days my little bump is bigger than other days, id this normal? Also when do you first feel the baby usually? I know a big old kick won't be for a while yet but just a little something would be nice!

In most pregnacies u should feel movement around 20 weeks. So you will be getting there soon, and I am not sure on normal weight gain. But remember once they start kicking they never stop. But I wish u the best of luck!

With a first baby you may not "really" show, to where it is obvious that you are pregnant, for several more weeks. It will, of course, vary from person to person, but some women don't look very pregnant until 6-7 months. In subsequent pregnancies, women often start showing sooner.
As babygirl1092 said, you will likely notice the movements within the next few weeks. They often feel like butterfly flutters in the beginning, then become more pronounced. Women who have had children before often notice the fluttering sooner.

The reason that the size of the "bump" may be bigger on one day than the other could be the amount of "poop" that you have in your intestines. Everything gets shifted around when you are pregnant. Also, I bet you have already felt the baby move and just didn't realize it. It is so quick and light in the beginning that you may not realize what it is!
