Hey all I'm new here. And I'm looking for the name of a move that came out in the early 90's I believe. It was live action with puppets. The girl in the movie had a "friend" that looked like a stuffed animal. It got put in the wash and almost died. Then the somehow travel to another dimension through I believe a mirror. There is a evil woman who has a cherry tree. There is also a scene with a library worm and the party gets thrown into a hole. If you know please let me know it was a childhood favorite.

It's called "The Last Mimzy". The stuffed animal is sent from the future with some kind of life force in it so that it can discover where mankind went wrong. Two kids find it on the beach. It was on HBO or Starz last weekend.
