During the time we have them, she sends messages every day asking to talk to them. Or, she will call directly to talk to them. What are the parental rights for phone calls during the weeks the parent does not have custody? We allow the kids to call anytime they want, but the constant phone calls from the parent can be very disruptive to the visit. Our understanding is that in a non-agreed arrangement for calls, the maximum is typically two, unless the child wants to call on their own. Is this true? Any advice would be tremendously appreciated. Unless there is some specific rule in your custody agreement, there is no specific rights

I've never heard the "typically two" rule but if the calls are disruptive and constant you certainly could ask your ex not to call as frequently. Is she aware that the calls are disruptive? Is she doing this to keep in touch with the children or just to be annoying?

How old are the children?
