    Low sex drive
I'm a woman in my late 30's and I should be at that point in my life where my sex drive is blazing but I'm not. This is very frustrating because my husband is older then me and has a MUCH higher sexual need. Therefor this causes tension between us. Please don't misunderstand me, I enjoy sex for the most part but it's almost like a chore. Something I have to do but not something I really want to do but once I'm doing "it" everything is fine. I guess it's just not on the top of my "to do" list and trust me I try putting it there but still no success. I could probably go for 6 weeks or longer before that "need" kicks in, where my husbands needs are 2 - 3 times per week. Which I try to accommodate but it seems like it's about once a week or so. Does anyone have any suggestion or use any supplement or "cures" to raise female libido. Any and all advise is appreciated.

May be you need to concentrate on yourself instead of him for just a little while. Take a little time out each day for yourself "alone time". And then make your relations with your husband a little more physical, but not to the point of sex. Get your turn on, take a little time shortly after that and do some exercizes such as sit ups and leg stretches and some others that are stimulating to you! Do not do the excercises alone. Have your husband help you and let him get a little hands on. The muscle strain and the physical contact and then maybe a shower with your husband without having sex should do the trick.

Once you do that, get down and dirty.

Have you ever tried wathching an adult video together? Me and my boyfriend have a great sex life but every once and a while we put on a video and it just makes us that much more hornier.

Have you asked your Doctor and made sure all is medically okay?

I just watched a program on very early menopause, the very early signs, and loss of sexual appetite is one of them.

    I'd ask my Doctor -

If you live near an urban area, why don't you go to an endocrinologist and have the necessary tests to find out how all your hormones are doing?

If the endocrinologist finds a deficit in some area, take the meds, and increase your exercise in your daily life.

The things that raise my wife's libido, who is around your age and whose drive is less than mine generally speaking are:

    A rested body
    A rested mind
Sensual touch (skin on skin, hands tracing the body, massage)
A clean, kept room that is comfortable to be naked in
    Privacy

How are things outside the bedroom? Everything OK?

Wine always helps my older partners. Scratch that it helps all my partners and me.

Unrelated to age and possibly your problem, is your husband aware just because he has been with a you for along time doesn't mean he doesn't have to try to get you aroused? By doing things he know will work and also trying new things. Planning good dates, being physically/verbally affectionate all the time, gifts, cards and stuff like that.

Not that is legal in the US but pot does it according to a friend of mine who smokes with her husband 4 times per year. Otherwise they stay away from it.
