Does any one know where I will find the tap to turn the hot water off so I can have a new sink put in

Should be right under the sink, or somewhere close by. You could turn off the hot water at your hot water heater if you can't find it under the sink.

There are three places to shut the water off. 1) the angle stops under the counter top in the cabinet.
2) The cold water shut off to your water heater **or**
3) The house shut off located where the water service enters your house.
If you're replacing the sink shut off both hot and cold. Good luck, Tom
