    Fathers rights
If a father is not on the birth certificate what rights does he have?

Basically none until he is adjudicated the father - nor can the mother collect support for the child.

None. For a father to have rights to a child he has be deemed the legal father. To do that he has to get a paternity order from a Family Court. So you have to go to court and request a paternity test and petition the court to have you declared the legal father.
