Is there any advantage to being sexually "experienced?"
Everyone that cares about me tells me I need more dating experience... My cousin wanted me to make out with her boyfriend so that I'd know how to properly have sex when I find a guy of my own and I have another friend who is always telling me to date ugly guys that I'm not attracted to so that I can learn how to behave around men. I don't see any advantage in being experienced with relationshisp. What are the advantages?

None my dear... NONE. I am assuming you are still a virgin, if so good, a virtue that should be held for only the person you deeply love. Even if you are not, virtue still applies in my humble opinion. You don't have to become one of the "off the shelf" girls... Hold yourself with pride, your friends and relatives could be just a little jealous my dear, do you think?

Make out with our cousins boyfriend, what in gods name, you don't need those types of friends to be honest, be proud of yourself, have respect for yourself and your body.

WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON HERE??

Since when does a cousin, or anyone else for that matter, have a right to tell you when and how to get intimate experience? Is there some super contest as to who does what best going on in this town of your's - I hope not!

This cousin of your's sounds strange to me - real backwoods. And truthfully, I think she might even be jealous of you still being a virgin - and maybe she might even want to watch. GOSH, I'm so sorry that you are being invaded with such ignorance.

Honey, the time when you feel close to someone special enough to want to experiment in intimacy is the time of YOUR choice, not anyone else's.

You will know when that time comes - and it's special! So for goodness sake, don't ever let anyone else force you into something you are not personally really sure about. Treat them like a bad pimple and just hope they go away and bother someone else.

Any time you feel pressured and unsure of what to do, come back here and talk to us. You just keep your self-respect to yourself dear and stay proud and not easy.

Glad you came here before you listened to your cousin, as that's the dumbest idea I have ever heard. The beauty of learning about yourself and life, is that you do it at your own pace, when you want to. Never because others tell you that's what you need to do.

Why be in such a rush to lose your virginity? Or smear your image for a few friends who already have damaged theirs? I would respect a girl more who had less partners and wanted a relationship with someone rather than a girl who goes out and makes out with anybody for the fun of it.

Keep things at YOUR pace, don't get caught up try to keep up with others because you will let your life pass by

So let me get this straight, your cousin wants you to make out with her boyfriend so that you will learn more about sex? Now I think I've heard it all!

I'm not pretty and she knows her boyfriend is not attracted to me and if she got someone else, they could betray her later on, and wouldn't be faithful to her cause.

Not pretty? Who told you that? There is beauty in every one of us - in the eye of the beholder and inner beauty, so don't let someone else's standard lead you to make a mistake you'll regret for the rest of your life. You will find someone who respects you and wants to share things with you all by yourself and don't need the help of others.

What do you mean by ''faithful to her cause'' - that sounds like she is starting her own sex sect or religion - and is a whacko to boot.

What do your parents have to say about those that are putting these dumb ideas into your head? If I were your Mom, I'd give them all a good whacking or even get my shotgun out. This makes me madder by the minute. They want to control your life - hey honey, don't let them, please!

The only types of people that I know who use this type of manipulation are pimps and want to use you for financial benefit. They don't care about you personally and I sincerely hope you realize this soon.

Honest, they are NOT doing you a favor - they are only thinking of themselves and their perverted pleasure.

Stay with us, talk to us, be a normal and healthy young lady who has still a lot to look forward to - but do it on your own. And, making out and learning how to have a healthy relationship with a guy is up to YOU and not any else!

    They are sick!
